24-Hour / Live-In Care

Some seniors are no longer safe to be alone — whether due to advanced cognitive decline, serious fall risk, nighttime disorientation, or significant physical dependency. 24-hour and live-in care provides continuous presence so families can have genuine peace of mind, and seniors can remain at home rather than transitioning to a facility.

THE CARELY DIFFERENCE

“Assesses the household’s actual needs and builds a care structure around them — including overnight coverage, shift transitions, and caregiver continuity.”

24-hour care works best when caregivers are familiar, trusted, and matched to language and culture from the start.

Continuous Daytime & Overnight Support

24-hour care may be structured as live-in care — one caregiver present in the home with designated rest periods — or as rotating shifts with multiple caregivers covering day and night. Carely works with families to determine which structure fits the household, the senior’s needs, and the family’s budget. Overnight care covers monitoring, nighttime toileting, reassurance during disorientation, and emergency response if needed.

Caregiver Continuity in Live-In Settings

In a live-in arrangement, the relationship between caregiver and senior is more intensive than in hourly care. Carely places particular emphasis on caregiver matching for these arrangements — language, cultural background, temperament, and household fit all matter. We aim for consistency in who is present, especially for seniors with dementia or high anxiety, and we communicate proactively if staffing changes are needed.

Full Scope of Daily Care

24-hour and live-in care encompasses the full range of Carely’s non-medical services: personal care, meals, mobility assistance, companionship, safety supervision, medication reminders, and household support. The care plan is customized to the senior’s specific needs and adjusted as those needs evolve. Families remain central to decisions, and Carely maintains clear communication throughout.
